1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the VividyClear mobile application. It describes how information is handled while you browse accessible storage, review categories, check possible duplicates or large items, and confirm file operations. Android, Google Play, and other apps you use with a file have their own policies.
2. Information processed by the app
When you grant the appropriate Android permission and request a feature, VividyClear may process file names, folder paths, extensions, sizes, modified dates, and category information. It may access limited file content or create a preview when you explicitly ask to inspect, open, share, or manage an item.
App preferences, scan exclusions, and selected items may be kept locally to support the current experience. VividyClear does not intentionally collect contacts, messages, precise location, microphone recordings, camera captures, or file contents for a remote developer database.
3. Why information is used
Information available to VividyClear is used to display storage categories, prepare review lists, show item details, identify possible duplicates or large files, remember local choices, and complete an operation you confirm. We do not intentionally sell file information or use it to build an advertising profile.
4. Actions remain under your control
The app waits for you to select and confirm an operation before acting on a file. If you open or share a file, Android sends it to the destination you choose, and that destination controls its later processing. Check the selection before confirming a deletion because removed files may not be recoverable.
5. Local storage, backups, and deletion
Preferences and temporary review results may be stored in local app data and are not intended to be transmitted to a developer-controlled server. Clearing app data or uninstalling VividyClear generally removes these local records. Android backup, transfer, or restore may copy app data according to your device and platform settings.
Files themselves remain in the device locations controlled by Android until you move or delete them through a confirmed action.
6. Sharing and third parties
We do not intentionally share file metadata, scan results, or file contents with advertisers or data brokers. Android may process information when you grant permissions or use its file-picker, sharing, backup, or restore features. Google Play may process information needed for distribution, security, diagnostics, and app management under Google's policies.
If an optional cloud, analytics, advertising, or online integration is added later, this policy will be updated with the applicable disclosures before that feature processes information.
7. Security and retention
Local review limits routine transfer of storage information, but no device or software can be completely secure. Protect the device with a lock, keep Android updated, and review permissions. Local preferences and temporary results are retained until you remove them, clear the app, or uninstall it, subject to platform backup behavior.
8. Children's privacy
VividyClear is a general file-management tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. For a concern, use the developer support contact listed on the VividyClear Google Play page.
9. Your choices and rights
You can control Android permissions, choose storage areas to review, decline an action, clear local app data, or uninstall the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Use the developer support contact displayed on the app's Google Play listing for a privacy request. We may verify the request and respond as required by applicable law.

We may revise this policy when VividyClear changes or legal requirements develop. The current version will show its latest update date on this page. Please omit private file contents unless they are essential to explain the request.
